CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF ATIKOKAN TENDER FOR: MAIN STREET TRUNK SEWER REPLACEMENT - WHITE STREET TO SPS 7 CONTRACT NO. 2018-MS Sealed tenders, plainly marked as to contents, will be received by the Town Clerk until 3:00 p.m., local Atikokan time on Friday, June 15, 2018 for the construction of the works described below: The work generally consists of supplying all materials, labour and equipment necessary to replace 265m of trunk sewer from White Street to SPS 7 in Atikokan, ON including full reconstruction of 175m of Main Street with storm, sanitary sewers and watermain replacement. Complete tender documents, including tender forms, may be obtained by general contractors commencing Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the office of the Engineer, upon payment of a $50.00 refundable deposit, payable to the Corporation of the Town of Atikokan, for each set of contract documents. Contractors who submit a bona fide tender will have this deposit refunded if the documents are returned in good condition within fifteen (15 days) after the tender closing date. Tenders must be accompanied with a tender deposit in the form of a certified cheque in the amount of $150,000.00 payable to the Corporation of the Town of Atikokan. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the contract. Only those tenders received from Bidders who have registered with the Engineer will be opened. A public opening of this tender will be held at 3:15 p.m., local Atikokan time on Friday, June 15, 2018, in the Town Office. Tenders are subject to a formal contract being prepared and executed.
